The goal of Riverside Medical Center Occupational Health Services is to serve both employers and employees by creating opportunities for a healthy workforce. Together with employers, employees and other health professionals, we work to coordinate and maintain the highest degree of physical, mental and social well-being of personnel by preventing illness and injury, and controlling risk. Our efforts heighten awareness of preventive health measures and promote safety in the workplace through the delivery of a comprehensive health program. Working with each employer, we customize an Occupational Health Program that can include:

Drug/Alcohol Testing: Drug/alcohol collection program is staffed with certified drug/alcohol technicians.

Pre-employment Screening (Physical Examinations): DOT (Federal Motor Carrier) and non-DOT Pre-employment and Return to Work physical examinations are tailored to meet the functional requirements of the job for which the person is seeking.

Medical Monitoring: Services available to employers include OSHA compliant audiograms; Industrial Spirometry, Immunizations, laboratory testing, DOT, HazMat, Fire Fighter and general industrial pre-employment, annual physicals, wellness screenings such as blood pressure, cholesterol and glucose.

Education: Many educational programs are available to help employers maintain the good health of their workforce, such as Back Care, Nutritional classes, CPR and American Heart First Aide, Bloodborne Pathogens training. Classes can also be customized to meet specific needs and be held on-site at your business.

Injury Management: Immediate, non-emergency care is available for the majority of industrial/work-related injuries such as lacerations, musculoskeletal injuries (strains, sprains and other repetitive injuries), skin reactions and minor burns.
